Cams or Manifolds? (please do not say this belongs in POLLS, Alot of members do not visit that page AND I think that others will find this post (with all answers/opinions) helpful for their future plans) I have to pull my motor again and I want to do another power increasing mod to it while I have it out. I am toggling between the following...
JWT 400+cams, new Oem lifters, upgraded valve springs etc OR Mike Smith exhaust manifolds. Which do you think would give the best gains? I do not think I will gain much in spool up because these GT28R turbos spool up very quick as it is. It will be mainly for a hp/tq increase. Although I would love to say BOTH which I probably could afford right now, I think it would be a better idea to just get ONE power mod and spend the rest on some Stoptechs or somthing like that. I now have recieved my wet, direct port n20 setup (125 shot) Look at my mods list if you want to know all my mods. So that it may help you with your suggestion. What would be some round-about numbers I will get from each mod?
I appricieate your suggestions. Thanks alot. Shawn300zTT GT28R MD.
NO, This picture is not photoshopped. It took many times to take this picture. Setting up the timer, shutter speed etc, then jumping on my bike and getting the tire to spin.
